At one time the bishop and the abbot and Ealdorman Ęthelwine 2 made an agreement among themselves that Ęthelwine 2 should hold from them Sudbourne and Stoke and Woodbridge and six hundreds which belong to Sudbourne. He did so and paid them ten pounds for these lands every year at the due time of the rogation days. |
