Description
King William notifies Ralph Taillebois and Peter de Valognes and all his faithful officials in the shires in which the abbey of St Albans holds lands that at Archbishop Lanfranc’s request he has granted to the abbey sake and soke, toll and team, and all customs in all places as they were held by Stigand on the day of King Edward’s death.
