Description
King William notifies Bishop William of London, Geoffrey de Mandeville, and the sheriff and all his French and English officials and faithful men of Essex that he has granted and ordered that the abbey of Westminster is to have the manor of Wennington and its church with the land and soke of Aveley, as Atsere and his wife Ælfgyth granted them to the abbey, and as King Edward confirmed them.
