*The date of the manuscript is that given by @Colgrave (ed.), p. 21. According to M. Gullick, it is more likely to be third quarter of twelfth century.
*Colgrave's edition reproduces these marginal notes in the apparatus criticus. Some of them are particularly relevant as they name people who are otherwise kept anonymous in both the Anonymous Life of Cuthbert and the main body of Bede's prose Life of Cuthbert.
