Eangyth 1 wrote to Boniface 5 to thank him for his letter. She told him about her worries for the souls of all those who were entrusted to her. She said they were also oppressed by poverty and their obligations to the king and queen, bishop, prefect, barons and counts. Furthermore she told him of all her relatives who had died. She finally told him of her desire to go to Rome and asked for his advice. |
