Description
Wærfrith, bishop (of Worcester), with the permission of King Alfred and of Æthelred and Æthelflæd, to Cynehelm, his kinsman; lease, for three lives, of 10 hides (manentes) at Bengeworth, Worcs., with reversion to the bishopric. The land had been granted to the church of Worcester by Burgred, king of the Mercians, and Bishop Ealhhun.
