*@Levison 1946, p. 240 n. 2, observes: 'The 12th year of Charles the Great began on the 9th of October 779 and ended on the 8th of the same month 780. It corresponded to the 25th year of Lullus's episcopate, if his inauguration was dated in 755.... Lullus is called episcopus in a royal charter of 780 (8 March), archiepiscopus for the first time in 782 (4 July); see Dipl. Karol. i, nos. 129 and 142.'
