Agent:
Alcuin 1
(Author, deacon and abbot of Tours, c.735-804) : Alcuin 1 asked the brethren of Monkwearmouth (Anonymi 1983) to remember him. He urged them to maintain their praiseworthy ways as the founders of the monastery (Anonymi 1958) were certain to visit them. There was no doubt that angelic visitations were frequent in holy places, for which claim he cited Bede 1 in support. He urged them (Anonymi 1954) to obey their fathers, honour the old, visit the sick and teach the young well.
