Worcester in turn asked Wulfheard 3 to give up his lease on Inkberrow so that the church could obtain the freedom on the land [from the king]. The charter, i.e. Worcester 1, appears to allege that Wulfheard 3 went back on his word and tried to petition the king for Inkberrow.
