 Abba 7.S1482 bequeathing land to Folkestone 1: Abba 7, reeve, to Folkestone 1; bequest of 10 oxen, 10 cows, 100 ewes, 100 swine, 500 pence to the community severally so that his wife Heregyth 1 might have the privilege of joining the community should she so choose. If she does not desire admittance, or is refused it, 1000 pence are to be given at Abba's funeral for his resting-place. Annual grant of 50 ambers of malt, 6 ambers of meal, 3 weys of lard and cheese, 400 loaves, 1 bullock and 6 sheep. : S1482    (833 x 839)
