Ecgwine 1.post-mortem miracle of iron band: When Anonymous 522 reached Evesham, he began to implore the Lord to have mercy on him through the merits of Ecgwine 1. While standing in the church and after the reading of the Gospel and the chanting of the 'Agnus Dei, the iron band burst from Anonymous 522's body and sprang away from him, thanks to Ecgwine 1's post-mortem intervention.
